How to switch to an Instagram Business Account

Converting an existing Creator or Personal Account is a simple and reversible process.

To switch from a Personal Instagram Account to a Business Account:
  1. Go to your Instagram Settings.
  2. Click Account.
  3. Click Switch to a Professional Account.
  4. Follow the prompts, and when it asks you to select what type of Professional account your are, Business or Creator, be sure to choose Business.
  5. Complete your Business profile.
To switch from a Creator Account to a Business Account:
  1. Go to your Instagram Settings.
  2. Click Account.
  3. Scroll down, and click “Switch Account Type”.
  4. Click Switch to Business Account.
